Photography is now the art of Zahara Abdul has mastered the art of scaling international heights
with her latest nod coming in from The Royal Photographic Society, United Kingdom.
This popular photographer was very delighted and shared the news on her social media with her
followers. Zahara was overwhelmed with emotion as she typed the following caption on her instagram,
“Delighted and immensely honored to be shortlisted for the International Photography
Exhibition 163” Zahara Abdul stated. She is super excited about her passion and career since she has been able to move walls with her art.
Abdul is among 279 photographers shortlisted from 50 countries across the globe to exhibit their
art on a grand global scale. The shortlist consists of photographs from her project “Get on
Board”, which features young skateboarders on the outskirts of Kigali taken during a Photojournalism Workshop in 2019.
Zahara Abdul also has been representing Uganda well since 2017 when she got first place at a photo competition in Berlin, ahead of fellow countryman Andrew Katende. She has worked on multiple projects such as the movie “27 Guns”, where she was the official photographer.
