Ugandan fashion model and socialite Doreen Kabareebe is unable to travel for the Miss World International competition due to the country’s lockdown.
Miss Doreen Kabareebe is supposed to represent Africa in World International Beauty Pageant in Miami, USA which is now unable to do because due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Filled with a lot of concern, she took it on her Instagram informing her fans on how she won’t be able to represent Uganda in Miami this year due to the situation in the country. She also says that it would be a selfish move for her to go and represent a Nation whose citizens are dying.
“I won’t be able to represent us in Miami this year due to the visa suspension policy based on the COVID situation in my Country Uganda at the moment. it would be selfish as well to represent a Nation whose citizens are dying. May the good Lord heal our Nation and the entire world from this pandemic. For now,please ,let’s observe the SOP’s & get vaccinated once you get a chance. It’s just a matter of time and life will get back to normal.”- Doreen Kabareebe posted.
