Colin Powell Dies At 84 Years Old Due to Covid 19

Colin Luther Powell was an American politician, diplomat, statesman, and four-star general who served as the 65th United States Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005. He was the first African-American Secretary of State.

“we are sending our deepest condolences to the loved ones of General #ColinPowell. An official statement from his family was shared to his Facebook, announcing that he passed away this morning due to complications from COVID-19. ‘We are keeping his family lifted in prayer,’ The Shade Room noted.

A true success story, born in Harlem to Jamaican Immigrants, he rose through the ranks visa honest hard work. He was respected across the aisle and represented Black Americans with incredible strength, dignity, and pride. This is a huge loss to our country and culture. RIP to a unique class act and icon.”

A follower said: “Y’all saying he was fully vaccinated okay but he was also 84 years old and we don’t know what other kind of health conditions he had before so please…..chill.”
