In March 2020, the Namasole launched the Makerere Gender Identity Week. This was conducted under the theme of “I am Generation Equality:. Realizing Women’s Rights” to commemorate the International Women’s day week by the School of Women and Gender studies.

She has truly been an iconic figure not just in Buganda Kingdom but the country at large. Her presence shall be missed and no words can put together the story that grips our hearts at this sad news. May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
